History of MedVoice

Medvoice was a project which ran from December 1999 toMay 2001, funded by the European Union/ Leonardo-Project and the different partners. Its aim was the design and conception of an Internet-based language course for medics. The course was divided into three parts:

1. Synchronous online session for collaborative learning via Internet
2. Asynchronous online and offline material (including soundfiles, exercises, games) for self studies.
3. Face-to-face course as an integrated part of the concept (pilot project phase in Norwegian only)

Target groups

Medical students and physicians who plan to study, to improve their practical skills or work in Spain, Germany or Norway.

Language Level

A basic level or the chosen language is needed. The language level will be tested by a course-specific language test via Internet
